Lower Instrument Panel: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  2. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR CHECK CUSHION 
    1. Install the 3 cushions to the lower instrument panel.
  4. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the stereo jack adapter.
  5. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the light control rheostat.
  6. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the outer mirror switch.
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SEAL 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the instrument cluster finish panel seal.
  8. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the claw and install the glove compartment door stopper.
  9. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and install the lower instrument panel.
    2. Connect the 7 clamps.
    3. Install the lower instrument panel with the 5 <B> or <C> bolts, <G> screw, <H> screw, and 2 <D> or <E> bolts.

      HINT: 

      The <C> screws have larger diameter and should be used for repair installation.

    4. Engage the 2 claws and install the DLC3 connector.
  10. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the 3 clamps and install the antenna cord.
  11. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 3 claws to connect the hood lock control lever.
  12. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Install the radio bracket with the 2 bolts.
  13. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Install the radio bracket with the 2 bolts.
  14. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX

    1. Insert the instrument panel box.
    2. Engage the 2 hinges with the instrument panel open.
    3. Close the instrument panel box.
  15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY 
    1. Engage the clip and 6 claws and install the instrument panel under tray.
    2. Install the 2 <A> screws.
    3. Engage the 4 claws and install the instrument panel under tray.

  16. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX 
    1. Engage the clip and 2 claws and install the front console box.
    2. Install the 2 <G> screws.
  17. CONNECT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  18. CONNECT AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  19. CONNECT DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  20. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING PANEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
  21. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  22. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  23. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3
  24. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
  25. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
  26. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 45
  27. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 46
  28. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 48
  29. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 47
  30. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 49
