| Either of the following conditions is met | 1 or 2 |
| 1. All of the following conditions are met | - |
| Engine coolant temperature | 20°C (68°F) or higher |
| Engine coolant temperature sensor circuit fail (P0115, P0117, P0118, P0125) | Not detected |
| Time after park/neutral position switch on to off | 10 seconds or more |
| 2. All of the following conditions are met | - |
| Either of the following conditions is met | (a) or (b) |
| (a) Engine coolant temperature | Less than 20°C (68°F) |
| (b) Engine coolant temperature sensor circuit fail (P0115, P0117, P0118, P0125) | Detected |
| Time after park/neutral position switch on to off | 30 seconds or more |
| Throttle position sensor fail (P0120, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0220, P0222, P0223, P2135) | Not detected |
| Engine speed | 2210 rpm or higher (varies with throttle valve opening angle) |
| Fuel cut at high engine speed | Not executing |
