Front Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

HINT: 

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH 

    HINT: 

    It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner. Partially remove it so that the speed sensor connector can be disconnected in a later step.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH 
    1. Remove the 2 front speed sensor wire harness clamps and disconnect the front speed sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.

      *1 No. 2 Sensor Clamp
    3. Remove the bolt, No. 1 sensor clamp and front brake flexible hose together from the front shock absorber assembly.

      *1 No. 1 Sensor Clamp
      *2 Front Brake Flexible Hose
    4. Remove the clamp from the front shock absorber assembly.
    5. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

      NOTE:
      • Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the front speed sensor tip.
      • Clean the front speed sensor installation hole and the contact surfaces every time the front speed sensor is removed.
