Front Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
HINT:
It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner. Partially remove it so that the speed sensor connector can be disconnected in a later step.
- REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH
- Remove the 2 front speed sensor wire harness clamps and disconnect the front speed sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 No. 2 Sensor Clamp - Remove the bolt, No. 1 sensor clamp and front brake flexible hose together from the front shock absorber assembly.

- Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

NOTE:- Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the front speed sensor tip.
- Clean the front speed sensor installation hole and the contact surfaces every time the front speed sensor is removed.
