Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the F3 front door window regulator assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F3-2 (B) - Body ground W - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      F3-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the front door window regulator assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F3-10 (UP) - F3-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG)
      Multiplex network master switch
      OFF → UP
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG)
      door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → the door glass fully closed
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      F3-7 (DOWN) - F3-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG)
      Multiplex network master switch
      OFF → DOWN
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG)
      door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → the door glass fully closed
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      F3-9 (LIN) - F3-1 (GND) P - W-B LIN communication signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the front door window regulator assembly LH may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the E3 front door window regulator assembly RH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E3-2 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      E3-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the front door window regulator assembly RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      E3-10 (UP) - E3-1 (GND) B - W-B Power window UP operation Power switch on (IG)
      power window regulator switch
      OFF → UP
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V

      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      E3-7 (DOWN) - E3-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG)
      power window regulator switch
      OFF → DOWN
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG)
      door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → the door glass fully closed
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      E3-9 (LIN) - E3-1 (GND) P - W-B LIN communication signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation
      E3-4 (AUTO) - E3-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window AUTO UP/DOWN operation Power switch on (IG)
      power window regulator switch
      OFF → AUTO UP/DOWN operation
      11 to 14 V → Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the front door window regulator assembly RH may be malfunctioning.

  3. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the F1 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F1-11 (B) - Body ground BR - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      F1-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F1-20 (UP) - F1-12 (GND) B - W-B Driver side door power window UP operation Power switch on (IG), driver side door power window regulator switch OFF → UP 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Driver side door power window AUTO UP operation Power switch on (IG), driver side door glass fully open → power window AUTO UP operation → driver side door glass fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      F1-15 (DOWN) - F1-12 (GND) W - W-B Driver side door power window DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), driver side door power window regulator switch OFF → DOWN 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      Driver side door power window AUTO DOWN operation Power switch on (IG), driver side door glass fully closed → power window AUTO DOWN operation → driver side door glass fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      F1-17 (LIN1) - F1-12 (GND) L - W-B LIN communication signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch may be malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

    *1 Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly *2 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      The instrument panel junction block assembly connectors must all be connected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) → off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      MB-30 (BECU) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - Power switch power supply Power switch on (IG) → off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reinstall the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). Refer to INSTALLATION .
    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      3E-24 (FLCY) - Body ground G - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch signal Driver side door closed → open
      Power switch on (IG)
      Tongue plate fastened
      Pulse generation → Below 1 V
      3C-28 (LIN2) - Body ground L - Body ground LIN communication line Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness.
