Yaw Rate Sensor Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (YAW RATE SENSOR BRANCH WIRE)
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the F34 yaw rate sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition F34-3 (CANH) - F34-2 (CANL) Ignition Switch off 54 to 69 Ω - Reconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE CONNECTED TO YAW RATE SENSOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IGSW, E1)
- Disconnect the F34 yaw rate sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F34-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition F34-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch on 11 to 14V - Reconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL
