Inspection Procedure

1. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).

1. Perform initialization (See CALIBRATION  ).

1. Perform torque sensor zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION  ).

1. Check for DTCs.

   The steering column assembly must be replaced if C1516/16 is still output even after the torque sensor zero point calibration is performed 3 times.
