Inspection Procedure
- CLEAR DTC
- Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION (TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT)
- Perform initialization (See CALIBRATION ).
- PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (TORQUE SENSOR)
- Perform torque sensor zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).
- CONFIRM DTC
- Check for DTCs.
Result
RESULT REFERENCEResult Proceed to DTC still output even after performing torque sensor zero point calibration once. A Normal system code output. B

Result
RESULT REFERENCEResult Proceed to DTC still output even after performing torque sensor zero point calibration 3 times. A Normal system code output. B HINT:
The steering column assembly must be replaced if C1516/16 is still output even after the torque sensor zero point calibration is performed 3 times.
B : END
A : REPLACE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
