Hood Lock Control Cable Assembly: Removal

REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOLDING COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE SIDE MUDGUARD (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
1. Remove the 9 clips and 6 screws.
2. Remove the 3 grommets and remove the front fender liner LH.
  HINT:
  
  The grommet needs to be replaced with a new one because it will break when it is removed.
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 3 bolts and remove the hood lock assembly.

2. Disconnect the hood lock control cable.

REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock control lever.

REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disconnect the clamps shown in the illustration.
