Hood Lock Control Cable Assembly: Installation

INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.

INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly and connect the hood lock control cable.

INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

2. Connect the hood lock control cable.

3. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)

INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See ADJUSTMENT )
ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See ADJUSTMENT )
INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
1. Install the front fender liner LH with 3 new grommets.
2. Install the 9 clips and 6 screws.

INSTALL ROCKER PANEL MOLDING COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
