Outer Rear View Mirror: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
• The procedure described below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see DISASSEMBLY ).

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see DISASSEMBLY ).

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see DISASSEMBLY ).

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see DISASSEMBLY ).

5. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
   1. Remove the front door service hole cover as shown in the illustration.

      HINT:

      Remove the cover to the extent that the connector can be disconnected.

   2. Disconnect the connector.
   3. Disengage the 3 nuts.
   4. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.
