How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

*: Use an intelligent tester or Techstream.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Interview the customer and confirm the trouble.
  3. CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA* 
    1. Check and record a DTC and Freeze Frame Data.
    2. Clear the DTC and Freeze Frame Data (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  for DTC Check/Clear, or FREEZE FRAME DATA  for Freeze Frame Data).
    3. Reconfirm the DTC.
    1. Reconfirm the DTC based on the recorded DTC and Freeze Frame Data (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  for DTC Check/Clear, or FREEZE FRAME DATA  for Freeze Frame Data).

      HINT:

      If any of the DTCs U0100/65, U0123/62, U0124/95, and U0126/63 is output together with a CAN communication DTC, first check the appropriate sensor for a momentary open circuit (See CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS  ).
