Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

    1. Disconnect the 2A, 2B, 2C, 2E and C45 main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      RESISTANCE AND VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Terminal No. (Symbols) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      2E-17 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      2B-30 (BECU) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source Always 11 to 14 V
      2A-21 (DCTY) - Body ground W- Body ground Front door courtesy light switch LH signal Switch pushed (Door closed) 10 kΩ or higher
      2A-21 (DCTY) - Body ground W- Body ground Front door courtesy light switch LH signal Switch not pushed (Door open) Below 1 Ω
      2E-23 (KSW) - Body ground L - Body ground Key unlock warning switch signal No key is in ignition key cylinder 10 kΩ or higher
      2E-23 (KSW) - Body ground L - Body ground Key unlock warning switch signal Key is in ignition key cylinder Below 1 Ω
      C45-23 (CANH) - C45-22 (CANL) R-W CAN communication line Ignition switch OFF 54 to 69 Ω
      C45-23 (CANH) - 2E-17 (GND1) R-W-B CAN communication line Ignition switch OFF 200 Ω or higher
      C45-22 (CANL) - 2E-17 (GND1) W-W-B CAN communication line Ignition switch OFF 200 Ω or higher

      HINT:

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
