INT Position

When the wiper and washer SW is turned to the INT position, the wiper relay activates and current flows in TERMINAL 17 of the wiper and washer SW then out TERMINAL 2 to GROUND. This activates the intermittent circuit and the current which flows in TERMINAL 17 of the wiper and washer SW then out TERMINAL 7 to TERMINAL 1 of the windshield wiper motor and finally out TERMINAL 5 to GROUND activating the wipers. The intermittent operation is controlled by the charging and discharging of a condenser installed in the relay.
