Shift Lever: Inspection

INSPECT SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

12 (KLS+) - 8 (E)	Ignition switch on (ACC) and shift lever P	Below 1 V
	Ignition switch on (ACC) and shift lever except P	7.5 to 11 V
	Ignition switch on (ACC) and shift lever except P (after approximately 1 second)	6 to 9 V
6 (ACC) - 8 (E)	Ignition switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
	Ignition switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V
	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V
7 (STP) - 8 (E)	Depress brake pedal	11 to 14 V
7 (STP) - 8 (E)	Release brake pedal	Below 1 V
1 (IG) - 8 (E)	Ignition switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
1 (IG) - 8 (E)	Ignition switch off	Below 1 V

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

8 (E) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the shift lock control unit assembly.
