Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

  1. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the 3 anchor brackets with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor board.
    3. Install the No. 1 deck board.
    4. Install the 2 rope hooks with the 2 bolts.
  2. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Install the inner belt with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the floor panel.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER 
    1. Install the anchor part of the outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the inner belt RH.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the inner belt with the bolt.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the floor panel.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  8. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 
  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
