Valve Body: Inspection

  1. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT
    1. Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve.

      Standard resistance: 5.0 to 5.6 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

    2. Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, and then check the movement of the valve.
    3. Check the operating noise of terminal 1 of the solenoid valve.

  2. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE ST
    1. Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve.

      Standard resistance: 11 to 15 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

    2. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body.
    3. Check the operating noise of the solenoid valve.
