Oil Pump: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING 
    1. Remove the O-ring from the oil pump.
  2. INSPECT STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY (See  INSPECTION   )

  3. REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a T30 "torx" socket wrench, remove the 10 screws.
  4. INSPECT CLEARANCE OF OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY (See  INSPECTION   )

  5. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the oil pump body.

  6. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the oil pump body.

  7. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL 
    1. Using SST, tap out the oil seal from the oil pump body.

      SST 09308-00010 

  8. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REASSEMBLY   )

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 oil seals from the stator shaft.
