Lower Instrument Panel: Installation

INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY
1. Install the instrument panel.
2. Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the 2 screws and bolt.
3. Install the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 screws.
4. Install the 2 clips.
5. Connect the hood lock control cable.

INSTALL FUSE BOX OPENING COVER
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER
1. Attach the 3 claws to install the instrument panel finish panel lower center.
2. Install the 2 clips.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT COVER LOWER CENTER
1. Attach the 5 claws to install the instrument cover lower center.

INSTALL FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the connectors.
2. Install the front ash receptacle with the 2 screws.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER
1. Connect the connectors.
2. Install the instrument cluster finish panel assembly center with the 4 screws.
INSTALL HEATER CONTROL AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )

INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
1. Attach the clip to install the cowl side trim board.
2. Install the clip.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
1. Attach the 7 claws to install the front door scuff plate.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the instrument panel (see INSTALLATION ).
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
