Inspection Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the transmission control switch connector of shift lever assy.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - BODY GROUND) RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS .

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 2.

- NG: REPLACE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - ECM)
- Connect the transmission control switch connector of shift lever assy.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 4.
