Rear Wheel Alignment: Inspection

  1. INSPECT TIRE (See  INSPECTION  ) 
  2. MEASURE VEHICLE HEIGHT (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 
    NOTE: Before inspecting wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specified value.
  3. INSPECT TOE-IN 

    Toe-in: 

    TOE-IN SPECIFICATION

    Toe-in (total) A + B: 0°21' +/- 20' (0.35° +/- 0.33°)
    C - D: 3.4 +/- 3.0 mm (0.13 +/- 0.12 in.)

    If the toe-in is not within the specified value, inspect the suspension parts and replace them if necessary.

  4. INSPECT CAMBER 
    1. Install the camber-caster-kingpin gauge or position the vehicle on a wheel alignment tester.
    2. Inspect the camber.

      Camber: 

      CAMBER SPECIFICATION

      Camber Right-left error -0°57' +/- 45' (-0.95° +/- 0.75°) 30' (0.5°) or less

      If the measured value is not within the specified value, inspect the suspension parts for damage and/or wear, and replace them if necessary because the camber is not adjustable.
