Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK DLC3 
    1. Check the DLC3.
      1. Measure the resistance according to DLC3 CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION  .

        DLC3 CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

        Symbols (Terminal No.) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
        CANH (D1-6) - CANL (D1-14) HIGH-level CAN bus line - LOW-level CAN bus line Ignition switch OFF 54 to 69 Ω
        CANH (D1-6) - BAT (D1-16) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
        CANL (D1-14) - BAT (D1-16) LOW-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
        CANH (D1-6) - CG (D1-4) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 kΩ or higher
        CANL (D1-14) - CG (D1-4) LOW-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 kΩ or higher
  2. CHECK SKID CONTROL ECU 
    1. Check the skid control ECU.
      1. Disconnect the S1 skid control ECU connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to SKID CONTROL ECU  .

        Standard: 

        SKID CONTROL ECU (1 OF 2)

        Symbols (Terminal No.) Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
        CANH (11) - CANL (25) HIGH-level CAN bus line - LOW-level CAN bus line Ignition switch OFF 108 to 132 Ω
        CANH (11) - GND1 (32) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 kΩ or higher
        CANL (25) - GND1 (32) LOW-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 KΩ or higher
        CANH (11) -+ BS (31) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
        CANL (25)-+ BS (31) LOW-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
    2. Check the wire harness of the skid control ECU.
      1. Disconnect the S1 skid control ECU connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to SKID CONTROL ECU (2 OF 2)  .

        CANH (S1-11) -+ BS (S1-31) B- B HIGH-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
        CANL (S1-25) -+ BS (S1-31) W- B LOW-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
  3. CHECK STEERING SENSOR 
    1. Check the steering sensor.
      1. Disconnect the S15 steering sensor connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to STEERING SENSOR  .

        Standard: 

        STEERING SENSOR (1 OF 2)

        CANH (10) - ESS (2) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 kΩ or higher
        CANL (9) - ESS (2) LOW-level CAN bus line - Ground Ignition switch OFF 3 kΩ or higher
        CANH (10) - BAT (3) HIGH-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
        CANL (9) - BAT (3) LOW-level CAN bus line - Battery positive Ignition switch OFF 1 MΩ or higher
    2. Check the wire harness of the steering sensor.
      1. Disconnect the S15 steering sensor connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to STEERING SENSOR (2 OF 2)  .

        Standard: 

        STEERING SENSOR (2 OF 2)

  4. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Check the wire harness of the yaw rate sensor.
      1. Disconnect the Y1 yaw rate sensor connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to YAW RATE SENSOR  .

  5. CHECK J10 JUNCTION CONNECTOR

    1. Check the terminal arrangement and connection
      J10 JUNCTION CONNECTOR
