Combination Meter ASSY: Overhaul

HINT:

• COMPONENTS: See INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER  .
• Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSY 
   1. Tilt the steering column assy down as far as possible.
   2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 9 claws.

      HINT:

      Tape the moulding remover tip before use.

   3. While holding the instrument panel sub-assy upper as shown in Fig 2 , remove the meter hood sub-assy.

   HINT:

   Attach protective tape to the column cover upper to prevent it from being damaged during removal.

2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSY 
   1. Remove the screw, and disengage the 2 claws.
   2. Pull the combination meter assy toward the rear of the vehicle, disconnect the connectors, and remove the combination meter assy.

3. REMOVE COMBINATION METER GLASS 
   1. Disengage the 8 claws, then remove the combination meter glass.
