Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Properly install the rubber grommet (1) to the headlamp wiring harness and seal the grommet to the wheelhouse in order to avoid chafing of the wiring harness.
  1. Install the headlamp wiring harness to the wheelhouse.

  2. Position the headlamp (1) to the wheelhouse (3).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the nuts (2) attaching the headlamp (1) to the front wheelhouse (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the headlamp wiring harness.
  5. Install the CPA (2) to the headlamp electrical connector (1).
  6. Install the front fascia closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement .
  7. Inspect the headlamp for proper operation and aim if required. Refer to Headlamp Aiming (Visual Method) , Headlamp Aiming (Export, LH Rule of the Road)  or Headlamp Aiming (Export, RH Rule of the Road) .
  8. Close the hood.
