Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW air filter assembly.
  2. Close the air cleaner cover.
  3. Engage the air cleaner cover latches (1).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
    6. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the air cleaner assembly to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
