Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify DTC C0899 is set as current.
  2. Engine running measure and record the voltage at the battery terminals.
  3. Verify that the battery voltage is 12.6-15.5 volts.
  4. Observe the scan tool EBCM battery positive voltage parameter.
  5. The battery terminal and EBCM parameter should not differ by more than 2 volts.
