Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the liftgate pull strap. Refer to Liftgate Pull Strap Replacement .
  3. Remove the right and left wedges from the liftgate.
  4. Using the J 38778  release the liftgate trim panel retainers.

  5. Remove the trim panel from the liftgate.
