Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the knock sensor.

  4. Loosen and remove the bank 2 knock sensor (2).
