Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Clean any existing corrosion from the battery terminal bolt flange and the battery cable end.
  1. Install the negative battery cable to the battery.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Tighten the negative battery cable (2) nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Reprogram the radio presets. Refer to Radio Setup .
  4. Re-initialize the power sliding doors. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .
