Transaxle Case Disassemble

Tools Required

• 87 90 800  Drift, Differential Seal. See Special Tools .
• 87 91 311  Bearing Driver Shaft Sleeve. See Special Tools .
• 87 92 236  Support. See Special Tools .

1. Remove the input shaft bearing retainer screws and the retainer.

2. Press out the input shaft bearing race using the87 90 800  . See Special Tools . Use the 87 92 236  as a base for the pressing operation. See Special Tools .

3. Press out the output shaft bearing race using the87 91 311  . See Special Tools .

4. Remove the transaxle vent filter from the case using a punch. Drive the vent from the outside to the inside.
