Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the gasket surfaces. Mating surfaces should be clean and dry.
  2. Install the rear gasket cover.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the rear cover and bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear cover bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Fill the transaxle to the proper fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Replacement .
  5. Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (4 Lug Wheel) or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (5 Lug Wheel) in Tires and Wheels.
