Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Release the electronic brake control module (EBCM) wiring harness retainer from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) bracket.

  4. Loosen the 2 insulator nuts (1) on the BPMV assembly.
  5. Carefully lift the brake modulator assembly just enough to clear the bracket, then support the assembly.

  7. Release the forward lamp wiring harness from the BPMV bracket.

  9. Remove the brake pressure modulator assembly bracket mounting nut and mounting bolts.
  10. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.
