Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
Dimming Intensity Special Functions The instrument panel cluster (IPC) increases or decreases the dimming intensity in increments of 20 percent between a range of 0-100 percent.
Display Test Special Functions The IPC illuminates all indicators and drives all of the gages at or above maximum for a few seconds. The IPC Display Test will end after one cycle of the gages sweep and indicator illumination.
Segment Check Special Functions The IPC illuminates all segments of the driver information center when you select ON.
Engine Control Module (ECM)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selections Description
GEN L-Terminal Special Functions The engine control module (ECM) commands the generator OFF when off is selected from the scan tool. The generator stops generating an output voltage.
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Special Functions The engine control module (ECM) commands the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) indicator ON and OFF.
