Repair Procedures
IMPORTANT:
A new catalyst may fail this test due to out-gassing of the internal matting. If this occurs, operate the vehicle at highway speeds for approximately one hour and retest.
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
- Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side (RPO LX9) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left Side (RPO LZ9)
- Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LX9) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LZ9)
- Catalytic Converter Replacement
- Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 Replacement
- Exhaust Leakage
- Restricted Exhaust
