Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stationary window (2) into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Bodyside Stationary Windows .
  2. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement in Doors.
  3. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces (1).
  4. Vent the front door windows until the sliding door window urethane has cured.
  5. Install either the 40A, RH or LH power sliding door fuse to the I/P fuse block in order to enable the power to the power sliding door motor.
  6. Perform the re-initialization procedure. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .
  7. Close the sliding door.
