Installation Procedure

Clean the gasket surfaces. Mating surfaces should be clean and dry.
Install the rear gasket cover.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the rear cover and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the rear cover bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
Fill the transaxle to the proper fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Replacement .
Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (5 Lug Wheel) or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (4 Lug wheel) in Tires and Wheels.
