Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn ignition OFF.
    2. IMPORTANT: Engine coolant must be drained below the level of the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) sensor. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.
  3. Remove the ECT sensor.
