Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ALC shield (2) onto the vehicle.
  2. Install the ALC relay onto the vehicle. Refer to Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Locating ALC Shield Bolt

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the ALC shield bolt (1) and retainers to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the ALC compressor assembly onto the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
