Removal Procedure

  1. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the overhead console from the console bezel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the OnStar(R) microphone.
  4. Remove the universal garage door opener. Refer to Garage Door Opener Replacement in Garage Door Opener.
  5. Remove the sunroof switch, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Switch Replacement in Roof.
