Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new stabilizer bushings with the opening facing forward.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: Vehicles equipped with the L61 engine w/cruise control must have the left stabilizer installed with the vehicle in a raised position.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft clamps.

    Tighten:  Tighten the stabilizer clamp bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. If equipped with the L61 engine w/cruise control lower the vehicle.
