Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the O-ring sealing surface and the throttle shaft. Make sure the O-ring is seated in the TP sensor.
  2. With the throttle plate closed, install the TP sensor over the throttle shaft.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Apply LOCTITE 242® Threadlocker to the threads of the TP sensor attachment screws and install the screws. Tighten:  Tighten the TP sensor screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
  4. Connect the TP sensor harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
