Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe) or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan) and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe) or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan) in SIR.
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (w/ Sunroof) or Headliner Replacement (w/o Sunroof) in Interior Trim.
  3. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, pry the rearward end of the lamp assembly cover to release the clips.

  5. Slide the lamp assembly cover rearward to disengage the forward hooks.

  7. Turn the lamp assembly back plate to disengage the plate from the headliner.

  9. Disconnect the lamp assembly electrical connectors.
  10. Remove the lamp assembly back plate from the headliner.
