Disassembly Procedure

  1. Remove the outside panel. Refer to Outer Door Panel Replacement Front - Bolt On .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Remove the door speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Front Door in Entertainment.
  4. Remove the outside handle pivot. Refer to Door Handle Pivot Replacement - Outside .
  5. Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Door .
  6. Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door .
  7. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Power Regulator)  or Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Manual Regulator) .
  8. Remove the run channel weatherstrip from the door.
  9. Remove the door check link. Refer to Door Check Strap Replacement - Side Front .
  10. Remove the door frame applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Front  or to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
  11. Remove the outer panel insulator from the door. Refer to Sound Insulator Replacement - Front Door .
  12. Remove the lock assembly. Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  13. Remove the rubber conduit from the front door body pillar.
  14. Remove the door hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Front Door .
  15. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Door .
