Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Setting Ignition Module Actuator Blade In RUN Position Prior To Installation

    IMPORTANT: The actuator blade within the ignition module housing must be in the RUN position to install the lock cylinder assembly. If rotated, replace it to the RUN position using needlenose pliers.
  1. Insert the key into the ignition lock cylinder and install it into the ignition lock cylinder case.

  2. Install the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
