Removal & Installation: Console: Installation

  1. Position console into vehicle. Route PRNDL boot through console opening.
  2. Install console front fasteners and tighten to specification. See Figure . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Move front seats forward and install console rear fasteners and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Snap PRNDL cover into console opening.
  5. Connect console wiring harness to main body harness.
  6. Snap console front tray into console. See Figure .
  7. On vehicles equipped with power windows, connect power window harness to power window switch and snap switch into place.
  8. Snap parking brake boot into place. See Figure .
  9. Install console extensions. See Figure .
