Fuel Pressure Damper Replacement - L61: Installation

IMPORTANT:  O-rings must be lubricated, with clean engine oil and installed into the fuel rail before fuel pressure regulator is installed.

1. Install small oiled O-ring into fuel rail.
2. Install large oiled O-ring into fuel rail.

3. Install fuel pressure regulator into fuel rail.

4. Install retaining bolts.

   Torque: 

   Fuel Pressure Dampener Bolts: 5 N.m (44 in-lbs) 

5. Install outlet resonator/duct assembly into position.

6. Connect PCV fresh air vent hose assembly.
7. Tighten clamp at throttle body assembly.
8. Position outlet resonator/duct assembly up with support bracket and install push pin.
9. Tighten clamp at air cleaner assembly.
10. Connect intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector.
11. Connect negative battery cable.

    Torque: 

    Battery Terminal Bolt: 17 N.m (13 ft-lbs) 

12. Run vehicle and inspect for leaks.
