Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock Solenoid

Check solenoid connector for open, spread or corroded terminals. Remove BTSI solenoid. See BRAKE TRANSAXLE SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Ground terminal "A" of BTSI solenoid and apply battery voltage to terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . When battery voltage is applied to BTSI solenoid, actuator rod should not be moveable. If actuator rod moves with battery voltage applied, replace BTSI solenoid. See BRAKE TRANSAXLE SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
