Fuel Tank Shield: Installation

Install fuel tank shield onto bottom of fuel tank.
Install fuel tank straps.
Torque:

Fuel Tank Straps-to-Body Bolts: 25 N.m (18 ft-lbs)

Install propeller shaft, IF EQUIPPED.
Install propeller shaft guard, IF EQUIPPED.
Install rubber exhaust hangers.

Lower vehicle from hoist.
Fill fuel tank.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Torque:

Battery Terminal Bolt: 17 N.m (13 ft-lbs)
Prime fuel system.
1. 9.1 Cycle ignition On for 5 seconds and then Off for 10 seconds.
2. 9.2 Repeat previous step twice.
3. 9.3 Crank engine until it starts (maximum starter motor cranking time is 20 seconds).
4. 9.4 If engine does not start, repeat steps 9.1-9.3.
