Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. While supporting the tail lamp assembly (3), install the tail lamp harness grommet (2).
  2. Install the tail lamp assembly (3) to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the tail lamp fasteners to the tail lamp studs in sequence: 1, 2 then 3.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the tail lamp fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Connect the tail lamp harness connector (1).
  5. Install the compartment trim panels. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT--REAR .
  6. Close the rear compartment lid.
