Diagnostic Aids

Use scan tool to monitor EVAP VENT - LOW VOLT or EVAP VENT - OPEN test with ignition on, engine off. When fault exists, scan tool will display TEST FAIL for both tests. This test will fail only when device is being commanded off and voltage at PCM is low. The test updates every 100 milliseconds whenever ignition is turned on and device is being commanded off by scan tool or PCM.

EVAP vent solenoid resistance should be 15-35 ohms.
