Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield: Installation

  1. Install spacer to forward exhaust manifold stud.

    Torque: 

    Forward Exhaust Manifold Stud: 18 N.m (159 in-lbs) 

  2. Install spacer to middle location on exhaust manifold.

    Torque: 

    Spacer to-Exhaust Manifold: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs) 

  3. Install heat shield and fasteners.

    Torque: 

    Fasteners-to-Heat Shield: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs) 

  4. Connect oxygen sensor connector to wiring harness.
