Removal & Installation: Starter: 2.2L: Installation

  1. Guide starter into engine block (flywheel housing). Install starter mounting bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install B+ cable and nut at starter. Install S-terminal wire and nut. Tighten both nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect negative battery cable to battery. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Reprogram radio stations.
